I wouldn’t have my new mummy and daddy if it wasn’t for Rescue
My life here is amazing with three big walks a day
In beaches and sometimes in woods, it’s everywhere I play
I love to paddle in seas and lochs, but only up to my tummy
I jump and then run like the wind, which makes me look quite funny
Then when I’m home, I wander every room and it’s anywhere I choose to lay
But bedtime I choose my cooling mat in mummy and daddy’s room to dream about my day
I’m stroked and cuddles every day, from my ears to my rump
And they think I’m just so gorgeous, even when I Trump
I’m also kissed all over, even my paws and they can pong
I love it here auntie Brenda, I just can do no wrong
Even when I chase deer, when they wander up our drive
They know I just can’t help myself, it makes me feel so alive
Daddy runs and shouts me to come back, which in the end I always do
I’m only gone two minutes, with daddy chasing and losing a shoe
So it’s fun and games here every day, and there’s always lots to do
I’m loved, adored and know it and that’s thanks to you
