Samoyed Rescue Society
We are a group of volunteers, dedicated to Samoyeds.
We rehome unwanted, abandoned Samoyed dogs and puppies in UK and Ireland.
Increasingly, more dogs with medical problems are coming to rescue resulting in the rescue incurring huge veterinary costs. We are totally reliant on donations, we receive no government funding. We all work voluntarily and the money is used only for the dogs welfare. We don’t have Kennels but sometimes in emergencies we need to use Kennels temporarily for dogs to be safe and out of difficult situations.
We have a supportive Samoyed family that help with home visits, transport, foster and fundraising. We all work towards the same goal and are proud of what we do.
Samoyed Rescue Society
Over 40 years of love & support for Samoyeds
Samoyed Rescue Society was founded over 40 years ago by Mrs Hopkin in Nottinghamshire, who’s affix was Crownie.
Mrs Brenda Walker and her husband John got involved in the Rescue by 1988 they helped Mrs Hopkin do a Nottingham transport run, after the first trip the calls from Mrs Hopkin to Mrs Walker become more frequent and as they say the rest is history.
It is because of their hard work the Samoyed Rescue Society is what it is today. The number of dogs rehomed to-date is unknown.
